Stitch Fix June 2015

I cannot say enough how much I love Stitch Fix!  I have had 5 "fixes" so far, and I have enjoyed every one of them.  I think it has really helped me try clothing styles/patterns that I would have never even glanced at in the store and introduced me to many new brands.

In case you haven't heard of Stitch Fix, or are wondering what Stitch Fix is all about, here is a quick overview:

1. Start by filling out your style profile - you will complete all sorts of questions on sizing, pricing, style preferences, colors, etc... so your stylist can get to know you.

2. Order your first fix! A personal stylist will put together a box of 5 items based on your style profile.  Once your fix ships you will be charged a $20 styling fee-  however, if you keep any item [one or more] you will be credited back the $20.

3. Try on your items in the comfort of your own home and decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back -it's super easy to return items you are not keeping in the provided postage paid envelope!

Ok, here is my June Fix- ENJOY!

1.  Mavi Sonja Boyfriend Jane-  $88.00

I don't have a picture for these, but I kept them and I LOVE them!  Mavi jeans are super soft and comfortable that they are worth the cost!
KEPT

2.  Daniel Rainn Bernal Split Neck Top-  $68.00
I really liked the colors and pattern of this shirt, and the back had cute blue pleats on the top.  However, it was was too big/billowy for my style preference, and it just didn't look good on me.
RETURNED

3.  Collective Concepts Pamela V-Neck Blouse-  $58.00
I asked my stylist to send me something with polka dots, and she listened!  I like the multi-colored dots on the shirt and the bright peach/pink color. Sadly, the armholes were way to big on this and it felt too big all around.
RETURNED

4.  Daniel Rainn Lewis Cut-Out Shoulder Blouse-  $64.00

I had pinned some cute shirts with bird prints onto my Pinterest Board, so my stylist thought I would like this.  Aren't the little birds SO cute!  I was super excited to pull this item out of my box!  This top has cut-outs on the shoulders and a split back with a tie in back.  SUPER CUTE!  But....when I tried it on it just didn't work for me.  The shoulder cut-outs were too big so the sleeves hung funny on my arms.  I SO wanted to keep this shirt, but sadly it just didn't work on me.
RETURNED
*****FYI-  I saw this exact same shirt on the Anthropolgie website for $98.00 so it felt good    to know that Stitch Fix was selling this at a very fair price!

5.  Zad Rhian Multi-Strand Beaded Necklace-  $34.00
I asked my stylist for a multi-color necklace.  I don't request jewelry that often, because I am kind of picky about jewelry and don't really like to spend a lot on trendy accessories.  I like the colors of this necklace, but I am not a huge fan of gold, and it just didn't seem like a necklace worth spending $34.00 on.
RETURNED

I only ended up keeping one item from this fix, but I am totally fine with that!  My stylist Natalie really listened to my requests and looked at my Pinterest board for inspiration and sent me things I really liked, but mainly had fit issues with.
